Situation: I remodeled our home 2 years ago ( added a 2nd story,MBRM with a 2 head shower, 2 vanity sinks, a Lg tub. toilet and 40 Gal water htr) Aproximately a year later I began to hear a "low pitch" whining noise from the pipes behind the wall whenever I used water fopr any reason. (upstairs & down) Also, the plumber added an outside fawcet which whenever used make s a very loud high pitch whining noise! Q: Will this hurt the plumbing or just my ears? Also, what causes this? Oh...and my #1 Q: HELP! HOW DO I STOP THIS! Thanks , Tom
