I've installed a floating laminate floor. Problem is, the brand of flooring a bought does not seem to make nose pieces for the top of stairs.
Any ideas for options? I could install a hardwood nose and the thickness would be about right, but the floating floor would of course not be flush since it has some "give". Or maybe I could put something thing underneath (piece of sheet metal?) and glue both the nose and this part of the floating floor to it? There's gotta be a proper way to go about this...
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! |
