I am interested in learning to do home remodeling, mostly woodworking, interiors, and paint finishes. Living in an apartment in the city, and with no access to space or tools, I don't know where to look for opportunities to learn the various skills.

Any tips on organizations, schools, or experts in the Washington DC area would be greatly appreciated.
