I have a large walk in closet--problem unorganized. I called around california Closets etc....thousands of dollars. I rent so it is not worth it. Does any one have any ideas about other closet organizers I can do myself, I need shelves as wellas hanging space. HELP

...organization...

Just some random thoughts...

We've struggled with organization for many years. And we haven't ever done the professional thing either. Not worth it for us either! Especially if you rent!

I'd look for something portable. When you move, you take it with you! Just organize your new home's closet without additional time and expense down the road.

It won't be fancy like a pro install job--but have you taken a look at big box stores? My wife found a bunch of good organizing stuff at the super Tarrget. She hasn't bought yet, because it would mean getting everything out of our existing closet and starting over. It becomes a huge project; whew! Some of them really look nice, too.
