Owens Corning Basement Finishing System

We had a salesmen come out to show us the system, we also looked at someones basement who had it installed. Very impressive - also expensive, although there are other methods of ensuring a water proof system that are more expensive. The Owens Corning system is a series of soft fabric covered panels more than half a foot thick that are secured in place by Plastic interlocking hardware, they plop in place and they plop back off. There is ceiling and floor trim, either white or wood grain, which is can also pop off and on. Great for installing wiring. They are sort of water resistent, but they are covered by a lifetime warranty, if they get wet, they will replace them - easy to do since they plop off and then back. There is an armstrong suspended ceiling with can lights and intregal wiring/switches/outlets. Expensive but worth it for a potentially wet basement.
