Pledge of The T Chizz Project

03/20/2008 10:56 AM CMiddleton

I pledge that the said above project will be completed and a picture of the said project will be posted on the T Chizz Forum.

Should I neglect to either start or finish the said project after giving said pledge, may all my tools rust and never operate properly again. May all the woodworkers the little children of the world come to despise my name. I will be forever banned from touching another piece of wood again without the nagging voices of T Chiz and Al reminding me that I have started a project and never completed it...OH! I am a complete failure.

To obtain forgives from this forum, three Mea Culpas must be given to the group and the said project must be completed and posted as proof of completion.

pledge

Tommy,

I pledge to follow along and try to complete this project to the best of my abilities. I'll do my best to source out some good mahogany in my area but I don't know... I may be the "walnut guy"... cause I've got a bunch of that already, plus the project will match the table thingy that's almost done... humm we'll see... I'll do my best to get the mahogany

hopefully I'll be set next week

thanks for doing this Tommy... what about the charity thing? ... and oh.. what ever became of that mind blowing dust collection info?

Pledge of Mahogany

03/20/2008 09:58 PM walnutbeagle

I do solemnly swear to participate in the aforementioned mahogany table project. I shall not be deterred by family, friends or work in the completion of this project. I shall uphold the woodworker's creed of making shavings following each new step. I shall procede diligently and forthrightly, even though I shall be forsaking other projects (heretofore referred to as "honeydos") at the expense of having my manhood removed (my planes and chisels taken away from me). Further I pledge to keep all edges sharp and ready, proceed expediently without haste, and to honor the commitment and effort put forth by the Forum Master.

Tommy, I'm in. This is a great opportunity for me to learn since I am planning to make an oversized demilune table that's going to have the same features.

Project Pledge

03/21/2008 11:39 AM NLamens

To the gods in the Duncan Phyfedom of Federale' Furniture I pledge to the completion of my wack-a-do table with the pretty bellflowers and banding.

I will uphold the woodworkers tradition of preparation much like the prep Chuck obviously has been doing in order to keep the forum focused on our project.

I pledge to keep the inane detail some woodworkers love to spew; out of this build and rather; raise the level of group focus and concentration to completing our build.

And most importantly, I promise to revel in the success of others because it wouldn't be as much fun without each one of us. And that is what Chizz is really all about.

So......here's to kicking Episode 56 in the ass and for all of us to have an uproarious build.

Neil

PS.....your "noodl'in" came a long way Eli, Dave, and Chuck.

Thanks......Big-T
