Painting Laminated bookcase and cabinet

09/25/2005 11:58 PM kimberlycosk1

I have a couple of bookcases and cabinets.

They are made of particle board with a laminate (wood finish simulated)

Can I paint these? I was going to use Glidden's Gripper.

Please help. Thank you

You can paint them. I'd use BIN to prime them. I have no experience with Gripper, but I know a lot of people love it. I do know it's similar in applications to 123 from zinsser. I know that BIN is preferred on such glossy surfaces as opposed to 123. I try to play it safe rather than take chances on this kind of stuff. :-)
