We are redoing our bathroom. The doors,baseboards etc. are a dark stain.Would like to redo in white.When painting the bathroom door where do you start and end with new color - will be leaving hallway in the dark stain?

When painting a door, whichever edge of the door is facing into the bathroom will be painted white. The other edge will stay stained. The baseboard will be painted up to the point at which it comes in contact with the door.
