Parquet Floors

03/26/1999 01:56 PM

During the process of remodeling the house, I pulled the carpet out of the Study, and laid hardwood, parquet flooring down. I brought the boxes of flooring into the house three days before laying it to "season" it to room temp. After grinding and leveling the concrete floor, I placed the squares into the recommended adhesive, and made sure that all the joints were tight. Outside temp was approximately 58 degrees on that day, and almost no humidity (hey, this is Las Vegas). Now the flooring has shrunk, and there are gaps in almost every joint. Some as much as 3/16". Is there any filler or caulk available to fix this problem? If not, any suggestions?
Thanks, in advance, for your help.
