Does anyone know anything about Patriot brand windows? I haven't been able to find out anything on the internet about them. I have them in my house and they seem to leak a lot of air and are cold to the touch. I imagine this is pretty normal in most windows, but to what degree? The house is fairly new. Thanks.

I know a lot of people, friends and family, who have experienced the same things with Patriot Windows. My cousins were all fogged up before she even settled. I work in the window industry and it is all too common for consumers to not know what they can do. The standard warranty is 5-10years for the original owner. You need to contact Patriot and tell them that you have failed windows and they will tell you what you need to do. Most window manufacturers will replace the glass free of charge, but you will most likely have to pay for the labor. Good Luck!

HELLO, I AM NEW HERE , SO THAT'S WHY I AM ONLY REPLYING NOW! I WAS TOLD BY A GOOD FRIEND THAT WAS IN THE BUSINESS TO STAY AWAT FROM THE PATRIOT WINDOW,HE WARNED ME THAT THEY WERE CHEAP FOR ALL THE REASONS YOU STATED!!

Service on Lifetime Warranty is miserable. I've been pushing them for over a year to replace a failed seal (double-pane window) Twice, they've sent out the wrong size replacement. You'd think they would have an appropriate tracking system to know what windows were installed in new construction. (We built our home through Ryan Homes)

At the risk of not getting anything done (from the comments I have read)... we also installed Patriot Windows in our new home... drafty and do not close well . Our builder recommended them (I wonder how much of a kickback he got!!).. BUT I cannot find a contact number for them.. do you have a number or email that I can use to contact them?

Well winter's here again in Buffalo and my Patriot windows are annoying me again with how bad they are. Cold to the touch, lots of condensation around the edges, and drafty. I now know they are made by MW windows and doors www.patriotwindows.com (is that Marvin?).

I'm wondering is there any way to get replacement sashes that would fit right into the opening of my current windows? I don't want to have to take off any siding or reframe any window openings or install new casings. I just want to put in new sashes that hopefully wouldn't be so cold and drafty.

I've been in my new home in Hearthstone at Woodfield for 1 year. The design is great but the Patriot windows they used were not even Low-E. When the March winds blow as the did this month, they blow right through the windows. Even the seal around the glass leaked. Ryan homes came in and sealed the glass but the weatherstripping is totally inadequate.
The Factory tech is scheduled to visit next week but I doubt they will be able to make adequate improvements. Because of the way the windows are installed, it will be difficult to put in replacement windows.
Ryan Homes should be ashamed of themselves for using such a poor quality window with energy prices soaring.

I know exactly what your talking about. When we were looking into building a Ryan Home, the salesman told us that this was an air tight house. Ha....what a laugh that has turned out to be. Our windows are so bad we had to stuff cotton ball into the sides of them to cut down on some of the air that is leaking into them.
My main question is how did this window ever get an Energy Star rating? I really think Energy Star is all a big hype and a joke!!
If anyone has any suggestions, please tell me.
