I have been asked by a condo owner to investigate peel and stick parquet wood floor for the bedrooms (concrete floors). They are looking at a way to replace their carpet - upgrade unit - likely to sell in a couple of years (rental unit in the meantime). Main Living area has tile. They don't want to spend a lot of money - so thought peel and stick - might be a good fit for their place.

If you have any recommendations, comments, opinions on peel and stick Vs glue down, etc., please email a reply.

I would make sure you have a floating wood floor versus and adhesive floor system. Take a look at these market products that include a sub-strate pad and the wood floor floats on the sub-strate. And on another note I am not sure I would want to put a new wood floor into the rental property unless it was a high end property. Better to go with a contractor grade carpet that can be replaced in the event of damage. This is not to say wood flooring is bad for rental houses but keep in mind that if the quality of the wood flooring finish is less than rock solid you will most likely get a lot of surface scratches and refinishing a factory floor is not that easy.
