Hi,
First of all, I would check with your local building code official. Typicaly if you're replacing an existing window and the house was built prior to the codes for bedroom egress openings being written, then you can replace them with the same type & size.
Second, new casement windows are better than the old ones. Better locking mechanisms and better seals. |
