I'm looking to purchase 14 new boards of Pergo Prodigy Antique Amber Oak Laminate Flooring. We had some water damage and I just learned that this is a discontinued floor. Hank.

As others have probably discovered, DuPont has taken over the "Antique Amber Oak" pattern from Pergo. It has a slightly different name--antique oak, I believe. It has the cloth backing and the exact same thickness, but interlocks a bit differently--so it's not a perfect match within the same room because it won't snap together. But otherwise it is the same. We ended up using the DuPont product for our whole hallway (even though half had perfectly good Pergo), and then used oak threshold strips for the doorways. It looks perfect. We reclaimed some of the used Pergo if we ever need another repair. So we don't need the Pergo at this time.

I have a similar story. We did our entire house minus the master bedroom. I went to look for more flooring to do this project and OOps it is all gone. Now we are also looking into closing in our garage so I will need even more. Any idea on where to find info on the Dupont flooring? I will end up with 5 or so boxes of New flooring that may be available if the dupont idea works.

The DuPont antique oak laminate that looks identical to the discontinued Pergo product was readily available at my local ********** store.

As I had mentioned I am in Daytona Fl. I don't know where you guys are located ..I have found 25 boxes of the Pergo product.
also although the size and color of the dupont product are about the same the color is a little darker(my wife doesn't like it)

I am in Lake Mary, Florida. Just 30 or 40 minutes south on 4. Hopefully I will get to go look at #20's sponser in the next couple of days to look at the dupont product. If it works out and I have extra boxes of the Pergo, I will let you know.
