I have Pergo in about 1900 square feet of my home and I hate it. I'm going round with the contractors and Pergo right now to either get it replaced with new Pergo or the floor of my choice. I had it installed because it was supposed to be low maintenance and hassle free. Well, it's just the opposite. It is scratched, scuffed, has dents, and if you walk in with any moisture on your shoes it leaves marks. They say to damp mop which I do and it leaves water marks that look terrible. The whole back of my house is windows so everything shows. I wouldn't recommend it. I would go with real hardwood or tile. I don't have small children or big dogs on my floor, just normal foot traffic.Pergo did tell me that the floor shouldn't be scratching so we'll see if they stand behind their warranty. |
