Tommy the table looks great, but the legs make it look like its a Red Headed step child. Everyone is going to love it but at the same time still fell sorry for it.

The banding looks killer.

Saw'in & Saw'in

03/30/2008 07:24 AM CMiddleton

Niel,

I could just see the expression on the the cars driving by while you were saw you Mo-hog along the side of the road. Especiality if you were wearing one of your caps. They probability thinking what kind of crazy thing is that guy on the side of the road doing. Didn't he know that piece of wood wouldn't fit into that van? The image could have been even funnier if it was raining or snowing.

Neil I'm laugh'in with you not at you. I think we all have all be on the side of the road fix'in a load of wood that has either loosen or shifted, while driver have gawked at us on the side of the road.

To another subject...you must be really busy in your shop. It has been quite awhile since we have seen Carlo. Let's get "CHOP, CHOP, CHOP'IN" on Carlo.

I like all the different legs... this is going to be a great learning experience

I've been soooooo busy at work and dealing with some other craziness that came up I'm about 5 episodes behind in the bombe..... but my wife is going out of town for a conference for 5 days, including next weekend.... so starting this project this week is perfect timing...

Hi Neil, guys!

Of course I'll be around for moral support! I could not be around for several problems, but I hope they'll pass soon...

Enough complaining, the table showed its face(s)!!! It is great, we are all going to learn some nice tricks doing it! Thanks to the wizard T-Chizz!!

I'll try to catch up later on you guys!

Neil here are the leg grain issue

04/12/2008 12:17 PM CMiddleton

Neil,

Here is the thread for the leg grain issue. Hope this helps. In your pictures of the grain away from the pith...where the grain is more diagonial would be better (I believe). Is that what you were thinking or to I have it wrong?
