I own one, and have for many years. It has worked great until just now, it's having trouble firing. On the side it says something about unlocking the fuel cell (to purge it), then pumping the nailer 3 times, then resetting the switch. When I do that, it fires good one time, sometimes twice. But after that, it either just makes a weak noise, or it fires, but only sends the nail in a 1/2" or so. In the manual it talks about getting a replacement kit for the airfilter and the firing device. I went to the places that carry the brand, and (a) I do not see the kit, nor do they know about it, or (b)they don't carry a new one (at this point, I may as well consider getting a new one if this is going to be a real pita). I don't see it on the DeltaPorterCable website either. Have they stopped making the cordless 15gauge nailer (the one that uses the gas cylinders)? By the way, I tried other cylinders, that is not the problem. I have a ton of nails and cylinders, so I want to either get a new one or fix this one.
Has anyone else had this problem? What is the fix? Anyone know where I can get the kit? Anyone know where I can get a new one or even a refurbed one that is running like new?
Thanks, Ralph |

I have a Bammer CDA250 and I need to know where I can buy fuel cells. I've tracked every google hit for the last hour and none of them have it in stock. Did PC discontinue the Bammer and/or fuel cell? Has anyone else struck out at their local stores? I got a blank look at Home Depot.
Thanks. |

The bammer has problems, but I don't know the details of them.
I has been discontinued. I think only a couple of years after it was introduced.
You might be able to order if online.

Or check with the local service center.
If not you might try ebay and see if anyone is selling old stock. |

Hi Bob,
I have a couple of these & am very happy with them with the exception of the shortage in fuel cells since PC discontinued them. I noticed that you mentioned that you had tried other fuel cells. I have tried to fit a paslode fuel cell into mine, even went to the extreme of machining an adaptor to get the paslode fuel cell to fit & still no luck. What other fuel cells have you found that operate in the Bammer?
Thanks,
Silas |

Try www.alexgs.com, Alexandria General Supply. They sell 12-packs, don't know about individual cells.

Bammer Fuel Cell Options |

Thanks for the reply on the availability of the Bammer fuel cells. What I was really trying to find was someone who had managed to get a Paslode fuel cell to work in the Bammer since they are available just about anywhere and are not 10 years old. I made an adaptor to fit between my Bammer and a Paslode Yellow fuel cell, but the Bammer will not fire. Don't know if it is the type of gas in the yellow cells, or a problem with the adaptor. The adaptor allows the Bammer regulator to pressurize, but the gun will not fire with it. Anyone have any ideas? |

If your still looking for one, I have one that I bought new ten years ago and used when I remodeled my kitchen and haven't used since. Still have 2 new fuel cells with it as well(all in original case/box). Let me know if your interested and I'll email you some pictures, otherwise I'm putting it on Ebay.

Do you still have the Bammer Fuel Cells? They are marked 42 g. I would be interested in as many as you have. Please email me at Tscript@comcast.net. Thanks in advance! |
