Post/Pole Buildings VS Frame Buildings

09/13/2005 01:02 AM xsquares

I'm wanting to get a building built before the end of the year to house our embroidery business. We were looking at just constructing a pole building, but have recently heard some drawbacks to doing that. Can you give me some pros and cons on both kinds of construction? I need some answers this week, if possible. Thanks

There aren't any drawbacks to building a pole building instead of a stick frame. Any way you look at it, you'll save on cement foundation costs by building a pole building. Once the poles are in place, you can build anything that you would be able to with stick-frame.

The only drawback I see is hiring a contractor that doesn't know how to build a pole building correctly and ends up giving you a headache.
