When you prepare wood for a glue up of a flat panel, do you hollow out the center of the boards a few thousands of an inch? (Enought to see a sliver of light between the boards). I have heard this is done to prevent glue joint failure, due to the ends of the panel releasing moisture faster then the center of the panel. What are your thoughts?
