Well I told Chuck I'd make sure I posted in the progress post by the end of the day and I got..........noth'in.

I unfortunately made inside tapers on all of the legs before I realized the mistake. Here are a few pictures.

This was an attempt to make the flower with 2 different sweeps a 12 and at the tip a 8. I have to admit I ran out of stringing on this leg and used some stuff a bought in the past. I know don't need to say anything.

Here's where I am now. I made the mistake of laying out the spade foot jig before I finished my coffee this morning... it got a little skinny, but oh well...

I'm going to apply the other foot and pick up my holly tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have some stringing pics in a couple of days.

Brian, I like the double string. Really adds more depth to it. And your bellflowers, Did you (not sure of the right wording)back cut the tips of them. They look cool like that.

The light really does something for the picture. Yea...that spade foot was not as easy as Chizz made it sound. I will need to pratice a few more times before I actually use it on some furniture. But when it is done like the Chizz and some of the other guys, it looks good.
