Putty knife?

01/19/2008 02:10 PM DanO Moderator

** I thought I had the model number right **

Sears appliance identification tags can have the model number printed in several different type fonts and also with spaces in between different parts of it making it confusing for consumers to judge which parts are actually part of it.

** will try with a flathead screwdriver or something like that. **

Technicians often use a putty knife in such situations when necessary as it has less chance of damaging the panel finishes than a screwdriver usually does.

JFYI
