Hey Guys,

I posted my intro a little while back with an in-progress shot of this table. I have now finished the finish and added the hardware so, I thought I'd post a shot of the completed table.

There's more info and pictures at my blog (see below for a link) where I documented the entire build process.

Tommy,

Thanks! You got it right onthe dovetails. I had not cut any in quite a while and these were half-blind with a lipped drawer. That lip was a pain to deal with. Let's just say they definitely look hand done!

I'm thinking about a Federal Style piece next.

Mark,
I like that. Its not everyday you see a queen ann with One draw in a lowboy style. Keep up the good work.
BTW whats the finish on it?

Justin,

Thanks!

Yes, the design is a bit unique with one drawer...I liked it enough to build it.

The finish is Boiled Linseed Oil, followed by Garnet Shellac (just for a slight bit of even color), and then a General Finishes Arm-R-Seal top coat.

I covered the entire construction process and finishing at my blog (see below in my signature line for a link - I can't seem to embed a link directly to the page in this post). If you go there and search for posts on Queen Anne, you can see the entire build process.
