Could there be radiant heat in 1960's home?

Infloor radiant heat using cooper pipes have been around since the 50's or maybe earlier.

However, in some of them the copper has deteriated and not longer working.

Also during the 60 and 70 there was in ceiling electric radaint heat.

Do you have a central boiler or heater and pumps and valves?

If not I susepct that you have ceiling electric radiant.
