I have an older mobile home in florida (Bradenton area)and a very ugly lanai about 8ft x 20ft. It has indoor/outdoor carpeting glued to a cement pad. I want to remove the carpeting but don't know what I should use to replace the carpeting. My concern is heat retention. We use it in the winter but the house and the lanai are closed up all summer.I think a laminated floor would buckle and a tile floor would absorb way to much heat. Am I stuck with replaing the ugly carpeting with a newer not so ugly carpeting? Help!!!
