I'm really having trouble removing masking tape adhesive from the wood trim of our windows. Unfortunately, the tape was left on for years and now the adhesive won't come off (we inherited the house). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

use denatured alchohol on a cloth and rub it off the wood-its a pain to do, but it will work.
