Yea, I know - shouldn't have painted it in the first place, BUT... We live in a VERY sunny & hot area (West Oahu Hawaii) 20" rain/year. Original pressure treated pine decking also treated with Jasco termite treatment (green) before latex primer and alkyd floor and deck paint 10 years ago. Have repainted 3 times. Needs it again - not bad enough to warrant pressure washing it all off.
Should we put the Jasco on the few bare wood areas again, sand, prime, and repaint? Opinions please about using a full body stain instead of deck paint? Recommended brands?
ANY experience with Krylon Fusion? Says ok to use on wood - with no priming/sanding... plastic coating hold up better in our climate??? MANY THANKS! |
