Unfortunately this is not a DIY job. The damaged area needs to be routed out very precisely and a new piece of Corian cut to fit and seamed in. Then it has to be sanded flush to the surface surrounding it. Simply filling the crack with adhesive will fail and the crack will continue to travel. Why not call a local kitchen dealer to see who fabricates their Corian, then see if they will give you a quote? I agree that $680.00 seems steep to repair the top. |
