Replace Floor Joist

One of my 2"x10"x14' floor joists is not straight. It's curved upward, creating a hump in the living room floor above. Builder should replace it, but I have no confidence he'll ever get around to it. (House built in 2003.)

Thus I think I'll replace the joist myself. Problem is, it's glued and nailed/screwed to the subflooring above. What's the best way to separate the joist from the subflooring without tearing up the latter?

Joist is easily accessible from full basement.
