Sorry if this is redundent but I can't seem to find an answer. I'm researching replacement windows for a house built in the 1930's in Michigan. I've been looking at vinyl windows but some tell me they can't take the cold and to go with vinyl clad wood. Any opinions?
Also, the vinyl ones I've looked at and like are North Star and Quaker. Does anyone have experience with these brands, good, bad or otherwise?
Thanks, a very confused wife stuck with doing research! |
