Greetings, I have sold and installed both the Certainteed and the Alside replacement windows. Given the choise between the two, I would use the Certainteed vinyl replacement windows. They have a better ballance system. I installed vinyl replacement windows in my new home made by Harvey Industries. They are located in New England so, they might not available to you. Good luck,
