Thanks for the reply. The roof is approx 7 years old. When we moved in, we noticed a stain on the ceiling. I found the source by following an old trail. Anyway, I don't believe I have an existing leak. The insulation is dry, just stained. As for ventilation, that is a possibility, have 2 powered attic fans plus have caps that allow air to exit. So far, that is the only spot found, but I am continuing to investigate. More evidence that a qualified home inspector could have saved me<G> Anyway, looks like it's about time to take shingles off and cut out a patch. Thanks again! |
