All need to check out this site. Seems you might not have to much time left to get use of the warranty. 1 billion in debt. Does not look good.

Has anyone taken MW to court rather than just complaining? |

I would like to know if anyone has taken MW to court yet? and if any outcome has happened?
We have a modular home built by Excel in 2003 and had problems like everyone else from the start drafty hard to open and close and so on.
Had factory rep come out and replace foam and felts to the point I can't close windows to lock as the sill is bent up. Unhappy face.
I have called and called and called only to get the run around from Kale and company.
Today I have called my lawyer and to serve them it will be a few hundred dollars but like others I have many windows and many problems.
They won't step up and the warranty is suppose to cover this. |

rotting sills on Marvin Windows out of Warroad MN. |

Since I posted on this web site,I have
received many comments on my problem
but, as yet have not found the problems from all of the respondents I
believe, Do Not have the windows I have. Most seem to be in manufactured
homes (which mine is not) and I wonder
if most of the respondents windows come from some window company on the
east coast. Mine are wood casement and
are manufactured at Warroad MN. Please respond to let me know if the
windows you speak of are the Marvin
Window, hence MW windows. Thank you

Marvin and MW windows are NOT the same manufacturer.
Our MW windows are "rotten" and we will never purchase anything from MW Patriot again: http://www.mwwindows.com/
We are condidering replacing our windows with Marvin Infinity windows:

Horrible Leaks |

My home is 14 years old and when we built it - we were told these MW vinyl clad windows were the best made and the most expensive. Well we live on the coast in South Carolina - can you say hurricane??? - and we have had a time. They are ALL rotting - we have replaced sashes, but of course the sills and everything are rotten now. Can anyone tell me if they got anywhere with MW? |
