MW Windows

07/09/2008 10:07 AM KIMike

Sort of...We live on the Chesapeake Bay and we were sold 2 casements and 3 double hung lower windows at not much abocve cost. I took photos of the issues and sent them to Cale at MW and he quickly replied with the offer. I installed them myself, easily. Our originals are 16 years old. We don't know the future of the rest of them or the brand new ones we had installed in an addition 6 years ago but MW offered a quick and affordable solution. There is a class-action suit in progress with info on this site. You are far from alone.....Good luck

MW Windows

I have had 32 sashes replaced. My home is only 4 years old. I have water damage on the sills but don't know if I caught the problem in time enough to prevent rot. They tried to tell me that the water damage was from condensation! LOL
So far I have not seen any more damage but I am not holding out hope that there will not be problems in the future.

M W windows

I built a modular home using Penn lyons as the modular company and MW windows in 2004. They have replaced all windows once and replaced the seals on another occassion. The second set of windows are already showing signs of water damage. the service altered the windows by placing silicone around the edges. Does this void the warranty? I also have structural damage from an oval window that has been leaking since day one. I want MW to refund what those windows cost to apply to a better window like Anderson. Any thoughts?
