I have some rust showing on my refrigerator door. is there any way this rust can be contained and the door re-painted?

Other than the door the fridge is in excellent condition.

This is a non professional opinon but i would sand off the rust and then use something like rust olium on it.

Is the rust on the outside, or is it coming through from the inside? If it's on the outside, go ahead and sand and paint.
If it's coming through from the inside, it's probably time to replace.
