Planning on building a sauna in basement using 2x4 wall construction covered with one of those custom sauna kits. What would you recommend for the bottom of the walls? Some people say 2 treated 2x4s and others say a concrete knee wall. Concrete would be more waterproof but I have no experience with it. Can it be made thin enough under 2x4 walls and still be strong?
