Shower or Tub?

01/24/2006 12:20 AM Mom443

My husband and I are remodeling and can't decide on a tub with a shower curtain or a dedicated shower enclosure. How can I find out which would add more resale value?

Tub or Shower

Wife is a realtor and studies this stuff, and depending on part of country, you largely get a dollar or more back for every dollar you spend on bathroom and kitchen updates.

If this is the only full bath and home is 3 bedroom, you probably better do the tub. However, if this is a second or master, the shower is the way to go. Many folks, we're included, do not use the whirlpool jacuzzi tubs coming with the newer homes, at all. Tubs in the master seem to be on the decline.
