Specific New England Architect from 1940's

09/18/2003 02:59 AM gaildtully

I'm attempting to obtain the name of a male architect whose work was extremely well known in New England 1930's-1950's I'm guessing.

He specialized in updated colonial homes with ells, dormers, gambrels, and other period architectural features that made his work stand out.

He had 2 hard bound books with charcoal perspective renderings of homess exteriors as well as the interior floor plans.

I believe he went by his first, middle and last name.

If you know of this architect I would appreciate receiving his full name and even the name(s) of his hard bound architectural books.

Displaced New Englander in the Pacific Northwest!
