We live in a two story condo and need to replace the covering on our steps leading up the iron rod spiral staircase. We are 65 years old and have slipped on the current carpet and would like to replace it with something safer, that we can do ourselves. What is your recommendation? We would also like to spruce up the metal on the staircase, any recommentions there?
