I am trying to find replacement latches for some 45 year old St. Charles metal cabinets in my parents home. Does anybody out there know where the latches can be purchased? The cabinets have a metal tapered pin on them and the doors have a latch with springs inside. The springs slip over the tapered pin and keep the cabinet door closed. The springs have broken on a few of the latches so I am looking for either replacement springs or the entire latch part that goes in the door. I noticed that one door has a plastic latch part in it which was different than the others. The plastic is also broken in that latch.
