Stained Glass Window

04/21/1999 04:48 PM

Help! How do I incorporate the deep yellow stained glass window into the decor in the dining room of the house I just bought and am in the process of renovating? I really had wanted to stay away from the yellows in my decor by buying maple kitchen cabinets with a warm pinkish-brown stain and I had thought about staining my oak floors a burgundy shade before refinishing them... The window is an interesting original detail in this 1920 urban brick house and I would hate to ignore it or remove it. My dining room set is a dark walnut colored set in that Mission/Shaker style and the seats are padded with an ivory fabric. There are 2 new long doublehung windows on the opposite wall. Any ideas???
