Starting Capacitor for *ears saw

I have 20yr old Craftsman saw, #113.298751, with motor #62618. I need a replacemet starting capacitor, but lost thte one I removed.

Can anyone help?

Have you tried Sears Parts and Service Centers?

If you don't have one near then go to a motor repair shop.

Starting caps are generic. Take the motor name plate data. Speically the HP and current rating.

Also measure, as best you can the space the for capacitor.

Thanks for the reply. I did check the on-line center, but they only sell the complete motor (as far as I can see). I called Grainger, & they told me the exact cap is very important as I might otherwise damage the winding.

I'll try calling Sears tomorrow.

Only sells stuff, of all types.

A motor repair shop or a tool repair shop works with and on motors.
