TChisel - Thanks!

Image for: TChisel - Thanks!

Last week I was visiting Rhode Island from Calgary, Alberta (in Canada for those that don't know). I knew one of the major things I wanted to do was check in with TChisel and see the bombe. When I finally caught up to him, he had already been to visit the bombe but he invited me over to his shop.

My only thought was I would stop in for five minutes, tell him how much I appreciated the podcast, and maybe get a picture to bring home. Two hours later I got all of that and then some. I was quite nervous (I don't normally go out of my way to meet people) but he instantly made me feel right at home. I can't even express how grateful I was that T-Mac spent as much time with me as he did.

We talked about the podcast, his plans for taking things to the next level, the importance of tools, his current projects, project design and a whole host of other topics. I also met his girlfriend (very cute...she seems like a keeper). When I left his shop, I was absolutely beaming!

Other than the pictures you guys have seen, I did not get a chance to get up to Boston to see the bombe :( However, the time spent in his shop more than made up for it.

I just wanted to say publicly, "Thank you!"

Keep doing what you're doing...

Tim D.
