I just moved into an apartment in Manhattan that is much noisier than I anticipated (the unit I originally saw had double paned windows - I didn't notice that this one didn't until docs were signed). I am renting the apartment, so any improvements I make will need to be temporary.

Does anyone have any solutions for sound reduction from windows that are suitable for apartments?
