Most likly it is DW compound. No easy fix. You can laminate another layer of DW. Or remove the ceiling and replace the DW. You can sand it, but not realy get it smooth. What I would do is sand enough to get down the peaks. Then skim coat it.		Member Since 04/26/2005 Total Contributions 3644 Posts
