I recently installed a slate tile backsplash. The slate tile is 2" tumbled with a variety of colors. The tile surface is uneven as some tiles are thicker than others. I need some good suggestions on what kind of face plates to install over the outlets, switches, etc. My thought was something that would blend in with the tile. However, on my walls, I have installed venetian bronze to match my light fixtures. Those plates are very prominent on the walls.

Any help, or suggestions on what to do will be appreciated
