Timbertech decking

We have had badly deteriorated Timbertech decking, which has both mildewed and buckled, but also has severe surface degradation. Timbertech has agreed to replace the deck. I assume that the problems posted to date have largely concerned the Floorizon product, which is a tongue-and-groove design. We will switch to either the XLM PVC product or Earthwood, which is a wood flour / plastic. Has anyone had bad experience with either? Is the PVC product squeaky? Does Earthwood mildew?
