I got a new vinyl double hung, double pane window that is 2 inches narrower then the opening it is going into. The old window sashes came out and the frame stayed in and thats where I have to install the new window. Is it ok to just use longer drywall screws when installing it or is that to much of a difference, 2 inches narrower?
