I completely redid my flooing in my dining room and hallway, using ceramic tile. It turned out great, however, it is almost 5/8 of an inch higher than the flooring in the adjoining rooms. (You step down a bit when entering the bedrooms off of the hallway). I don't want to redo the flooring in the bedrooms (i.e. adding a subfloor). Any ideas as to what I can to to ease the transition from the hallway to these rooms? Do they make transition strips with a angled grade to them? Has anyone had this problem before?
