Hi there,
I have a ceramic tile backsplash that overlaps (very slightly) a Formica counter. The bead of caulk running down the middle turned black and ugly in about 2 years time. I was thinking about stripping out the caulk installing one of those L-shaped metal trim molding (the type on old Formica counters) where the tile meets the Formica. Is this a good idea? Is there a better way to handle this transition, or should I re-caulk? Finally, anyone know where I can get metal molding, say 3/8"x3/8" (or around that size)? What's the best way to install it into the corner, glue?
Thanks,
