If you have installed tubular skylights, I would like to hear your pros/cons.

I live in the Northeast and want to bring natural light into a bathroom.

I had a new roof installed last fall, at that time I had 3 Velux skylights installed. Because the flashing went under the new roof I have experienced no leakage.

My roofer indicated that although he has never seen the tubular product he personally feels that the roof cap is circular and there is no efficient way to seal the flashing.

Specifically I want to use Solatube Internation from Vista California and there is no local contact for references.

Any suggestions/help will be greatly appreciated. My bathroom is scheduled to begin renovation within 2 weeks so if this product is to be ordered, I must do so quickly. Thank you.
