US dryer to install in Newzealand?

I am an electrician in NewZeland and a customer of mine has bought over a USA dryer (10kg) to use, but the voltage over here is 240VAC to ground. so I would like to know how you conecnt your dryers over there and how they are supplied? are they supplied two phase 110VAC or are they transformered 110 to 240Vac with a centre tap?
